Jenny Batson was awarded the David Meyer research prize for the best presentation at the Nottingham Eye Symposium 20th Annual Meeting 2016.
The Nottingham Eye Symposium is an annual meeting organised by the University of Nottingham Academic Ophthalmology Department. This meeting attracts clinical ophthalmologists and researchers from across the UK with research presentations in the morning session and clinical discussions in the afternoon. This year the focus of the meeting was on glaucoma. Jenny writes,
“It was a great opportunity to hear talks on diverse topics from basic research and new techniques through to clinical management. It was also an invaluable experience being able to interact with researchers and ophthalmologists from different fields.”
Jenny presented some of Exonate’s recent biology data and answered questions from the audience. Jenny said
“It was encouraging that several questions from ophthalmologists in the room had already been answered through our market research and discussions with experts in the field were in agreement with Exonate’s views”.
